INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE PLANNING CENTER

1. upon arriving to planningcenteronline.com, you’ll notice a login area in the top right of the window. use the login info that should have been sent to you (if you need it resent, please contact josh white, or lauren miller, depending on if you’re a member of band or crew).

2. first thing for your first time on the site, make sure you change your password from what’s been assigned to something you’ll easily remember. click on the “my account” link in the top right.

3. once you’ve clicked on “my account” you’ll be taken to a page where near the top left of the page will be a box called “change password.” enter in a password that’ll be easy for you to remember, and click on accept. all done!

4. from here (and in general), to get to the information that is pertinent to you, click on the “plans” link from the main navigation section.

5. you’ll be taken to a page listing all the plans that have thus far been entered into planning center. not all of them will be populated yet. we will have the weekend’s plan up by late afternoon on monday prior to that weekend. so you’ll click on the date at the top.

6. now you’re on the plan, or order of service, for the upcoming weekend. from this page, you can view what’s happening, and when, as well as who is doing what. what’s also included in this are links to download and/or listen to the music for that weekend, as well as links to view the videos for the weekend. the links to the videos will be populated as the videos are created, but should be available no later than thursday evening for lyric videos, and friday evening for everything else. to see these links (or any other pertinent information) just click on the blue arrow to the left of the programming element.

7. once the blue arrow is clicked, it will expand that section, revealing the rest of the information and/or attachments. music will most likely be posted in .zip format.
8. that’s it! any more questions and/or concerns, you can either leave a comment on this page, or contact your ministry supervisor directly.
